Roof Maker’s Slimline® Roof Lantern is trademarked for its ultra-slim aluminium frame construction.

Our patented roof lantern system features the slimmest glazing bars on the market blending the profiles into the glass unit seals to give clean and minimalistic lines for maximum light and a frameless effect. Most competitor roof lanterns come with bulky and chunky glazing sections that block out light and give a clunky effect, not with Slimline! Our unique and ultra slim rafters enable maximum light to enter the room, with a more contemporary finish; MORE SKY, LESS ROOF we say!

As with all our rooflights the Slimline glass roof lantern sizes are based on internal hole size, so you actually get a larger roof lantern with us, around 20% larger due to competitors using external sizes and not internal hole sizes.

The dynamic architectural feel of a Slimline roof lantern has much more impact than a flat rooflight because the added increase in internal room height gives increased volume to the room interior, making spaces feel larger and more inviting.

Additionally, the option of a double glazed vent for natural ventilation makes the Slimline® Roof Lantern a great choice for flat roofs in kitchens, dining areas, living rooms and extensions.

Product Overview

Designed to stand the test of time, the Slimline^®Roof Lantern has been comprehensively weather tested against BS 6375 Pt 1, including BS EN1279 parts 2 & 3.
Roof Maker Slimline® Roof Lanterns benefit from a sleek, contemporary design with ultra-thin glazing connectors to maximise light transmission.
Available with either triple or double-glazed toughened safety glass or a choice of glazing options and tints.
A different RAL colour can be chosen for the outside of the frame to the inside, providing you with the ability to create a completely unique look that complements both the exterior and interior styles.
Our Slimline^®lantern rooflights are made to measure, sizes include 2 metre wide x 4metre long, 1.6metre wide x 6metre long.
The electronic vented option is available with automatic climate control, whilst the built-in rain sensor provides additional peace of mind as the rooflight will close if rain occurs.
